COFFEE - CAN YOU LIVE WITHOUT IT?

Most of us have a tendency to get up in the morning...stumble to the kitchen...and then to both prepare and drink our first cup of coffee before even opening our eyes.

I speak from experience when I say that I just can't seem to get going in the morning if I haven't had my coffee.The days where I don't get my morning fix always tend to end up in the crapper.

It's only recently where I attended a very interesting talk regarding addiction where we were told that coffee is actually one of the most addictive substances available.

Now I think to myself...addictive...coffee...nah can't be...but then try to go without...by the third day you'll be saying 'Oh well it's not like it's harmful anyway'.

According to various sources a very healthy alternative to coffee, or if you're simply running late, is an apple. It can wake you as effectively as a strong coffee...

Now I know you're thinking 'An apple?!? blech!' But next time you're on your way out the front door wondering if you're gonna have time to stop at a Starbucks without being late...remember the apple...
